Cincy Talks v4 - Pata Roja Taqueria For this episode we head over to Court Street to explore @Pata Roja Taqueria , a Mexico City-inspired taqueria that recently opened their brick-and-mortar! At Pata Roja you'll find street tacos and loaded tortas that can be stuffed with your choice of al pastor (marinated pork & pineapple), bistec (grilled steak), campechano (chorizo, pork shoulder, and brisket), birria (braised beef with consommé), or sweet potato. They also have house-made salsas and guacamole (a perfect complement to their generously seasoned chips) and churros for dessert! We tried the al pastor, bistec, and sweet potato tacos, along with a massive torta loaded with al pastor, crema pico de gallo, cilantro, bean purée, some of the house-made guac, and cheese. Each taco had vibrant flavors, and the cheese crust on the corn tortillas added a great textural element to the taco.
