Photo by irablockphoto / A vehicle is dwarfed by the magnificent 26,335-foot (8,027-meter) Shishapangma Mountain in Tibet. It was first summited by a Chinese expedition in 1964. Due to its location being entirely in Tibet and government restrictions, there were no ascents by foreign expeditions until the early 1980s. About 74 miles (119 km) from Mount Everest, Shishapangma is part of the Himalaya range and is the 14th highest mountain in the world.
