It’s a full Moon tonight, which is fitting to announce the landing site for VIPER, our water-hunting Moon rover! ⁣ ⁣ Our NASAAmes VIPER rover will land near the western edge of the Nobile Crater at the Moon’s South Pole. There, it will scout for water ice and other materials to give a close-up view of the lunar landscape like we’ve never seen before.
