Confession: extravagant campaigns don’t excite me.
WHAT I SEE:
💸 Spending: anything can be done with a big budget.
⌛️Brevity: short-lived impact, where the buzz fades quickly and the initial excitement dissipates in a brief moment.
😵💫Stress: calls, emails, meetings, low-performing employees getting in the way, project management snafus, and everything that comes along with a massive campaign, and anything involving an agency
💁🏻♀️Overshadowing: For example, when a CMO accepts an award for a campaign or agency performance that they had nothing to do with, and the people who bust their asses for months and likely destroyed their mental health because of it get zero recognition. This happens with clients/agencies, too. Clients accept the award; agency did 100% of the work.
I’D RATHER BE CREATING:
🌱 Authenticity: No smoke and mirrors. Initiatives that genuinely reflect the brand’s values and resonate with the audience.
🧱 Longevity: Sustainable efforts that go beyond fleeting...
