One of the craziest goals you’ll see scored by an American. Kellyn Acosta scored his first goal for the new club Chicago Fire today from his own half, thanks to strong winds and the goalkeeper’s error. In the 99th minute of the game, Acosta sent the ball forward for one last attack, only for the ball to somehow end up in the back of the net. It was the last-minute game winner in a crazy 4-3 game. Fire were losing 3-1 until the 83rd minute but made a big comeback. This is a bit similar to Tim Howard’s goal for Everton in the Premier League a decade ago.
