Yes meditation can be tricky to master. But look at those benefits!
What are you thinking? No, literally. What thoughts are you having as you meditate? It’s hard to let your negative thoughts go sometimes but if you note the content of your thoughts when you mediate on your breath it will help you to discover patterns in your thinking and be more mindful of your thought processes.
So there you are counting your breaths and then a thought pops in. Just note the content and then return to counting your breath. At the end of your session write down which thoughts emerged. Did you worry about money, family, work, etc? Do this for one week and you may notice a recurring pattern. Over time, you’ll also be able to notice whether these intrusive thoughts are becoming less.
