Mindfulness does not have to be hours of silent meditation each day. Just a few simple changes can have an amazing effect. ⠀
▪️ Just slow down for a second, maybe stop multi tasking. Concentrate on just one task at hand.⠀
▪️ Try to eat a meal with no distractions. Stop what you're doing and just concentrate on eating. It will help your digestion.⠀
▪️ When things start to feel a little manic, out of control or overwhelming just pause and concentrate on your breath. I know it sounds cheesy but just a few seconds of bringing awareness to your breathing can calm you down and re connect you to the moment.⠀
▪️ Try and spend just a few minutes at the end of the day reflecting on your day. Acknowledge the positives and practice some gratitude.⠀
⠀
Many people feel they just don't have time for mindfulness practice but if you start small and often it can have enormous benefits. Have a peaceful Saturday. 🙏 ⠀
