Good morning! My name is Amanda Howard-Phillips and I play principal second violin in the Spokane Symphony. I've been asked to take over the Symphony's instagram account for the next few days! In addition to playing principal clarinet in the Spokane Symphony, my husband Chip Phillips has established quite a successful second career as a professional landscape photographer. (You can check out his work at chipphillipsphoto). Since 2016, Chip has been an instructor at photography workshops in the rugged Italian Dolomite mountains. So this summer, our 3-year-old son and I tagged along and extended the trip over to Slovenia and Croatia, then south to the southern coast of Tuscany, where this photo was taken. We stayed in an area called Monte Argentario, and took a local ferryboat to the tiny Mediterranean island of Giglio. It was like a dream! Hope you enjoy!
