Just two weeks ago, Austin Prep’s Class of 2028 was enjoying a memorable journey in Washington, D.C., on their capstone trip. Students visited inspiring museums, monuments, and memorials, including the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the John F. Kennedy Eternal Flame Memorial. Each day, the group had opportunities to reflect deeply on the significance of these historic spots and about our nation’s past. Student trips are more than just travel experiences; they are transformative adventures that distinguish Austin Prep and its students as seekers of knowledge and champions of cultural understanding. By participating in these journeys, our students and teachers go beyond the ordinary and gain an appreciation for our world and the human experience. Through travel, students gain a perspective that prepares them to navigate their interconnected future with empathy, curiosity, and a profound understanding of the world and how they can contribute to it. #washingtondc #classof2028 #8thgradec...
