It’s the First Day of Winter and we’re going to 𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝑰𝒕 𝑺𝒏𝒐𝒘 ❄️ The classic holiday song, written by Sammy Cahn and Jule Styne on America’s hottest day of 1945, was then recorded by @DeanMartinOfficial 14 years later for his album ‘A Winter Romance.’ Martin’s version became one of the most popular renditions of the song. In the book ‘Songwriters On Songwriting,’ Cahn recalled how the classic tune came about, and what was originally meant to be a fun summer beach day led to the duo writing the song. “‘Why don’t we go down to the beach and cool off?’ Cahn asked Jule.
