Today The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh visited Canada House in London to celebrate Canada's 150th Anniversary of Confederation.  Her Majesty and His Royal Highness were met by Canada's Governor-General His Excellency Mr David Johnston and saw a royal_collection_trust exhibition which highlights the special place of Canada House in the United Kingdom.  Objects from The Royal Archives included an original program from the opening of Canada House in 1925 by King George V, a message from King George to people in the Eastern Canadian Arctic and Hockey memorabilia which had been presented to The Queen on various tours.  After meeting guests The Queen and The Duke saw a performance by singer Eve Daniell. The Queen was then presented with a Sapphire Jubilee gift by the Governor-General and signed the visitor's book.  #Canada150 📷 Press Association
