Fun fact: the 1995 Feature film Heavyweights was filmed in part at camppinnacle One of the most recognizable parts in the movie is the blob on Wolfe Lake! The last session of camp my first summer it had rained almost 5 days straight (western North Carolina is a rain forest FYI) and when the sun finally came out we spent the entire day playing all camp outdoor games and having a mountain beach party.
