Aside from the obvious, one of the biggest benefits to buying a new build is the warranty that comes with it. It’s shiny and new, plus the builder is responsible for any defects or ‘warranty’ items for the first year (sometimes longer). This takes away any worries that you’re going to uncover something scary in what is usually the biggest investment of your life. With the new construction warranty, you can rest easy at night knowing that your builder will take care of any unforeseen issues with the house. Now, you still have some responsibilities as a homeowner, but you can leave the big stuff up to the professionals.
