Lasagne is a classic but that doesn’t mean you can't switch things up. What’s your go to unique Lasagne recipe?
Ingredients (serves 6):
Lasagne
250g Barilla Lasagne
200g Pumpkin
1 jar Barilla Napoletana sauce
1 garlic clove, chopped
150g fresh spinach, washed
80g Parmigiano-Reggiano, grated
100g Mozzarella cheese, shredded
150g smoked turkey ham, sliced
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt & pepper
Béchamel:
1L milk
100g onion, chopped
50g butter
50g flour
200g pumpkin peeled & cubed
Salt & pepper
Nutmeg
Method:
1. Preheat oven to 180°, meanwhile in a bowl season pumpkin with salt & pepper, a drizzle of oil, & wrap with cling film. Microwave for 3 minutes
2. Prepare the béchamel: melt butter in a pan and add onion, cook until soft.
3. Add the flour and pumpkin and stir for 3 minutes.
4. Add the milk and gently bring to the boil.
5. Blend together with a stick blender, then season with salt, pepper & nutmeg.
