In today’s world, access to technology is critical to success for children and adults in both education and in the workforce, especially amidst the #COVID19 crisis. The “digital divide” - the gap between people who have knowledge of and access to technology and those who don’t - disproportionately affects families and children of color in Atlanta. Many families in underserved communities do not have access to computers or reliable internet, which affects their ability to learn from home, yet another example of racial disparities in our education system. Thanks to extraordinary partners and connectors like Inspireduatl (formerly PowerMyLearning Atlanta), we are able to bridge that gap and provide the necessary technological resources and skills to the students and families who need them most. #GranteeSpotlight
