formandfunctioncoffee is a local small-batch coffee roaster which opened up its brick-and-mortar last month. You probably recognize them from the boisefarmersmarket. I was looking forward to trying their avocado 🥑 & Brunch toast after putting in work at the gym. The avocado toast is amazing! The bread 🍞 is the right amount of thickness, and it's a great complement to the softness of the avocado. The toast is topped with pesto, lemon ricotta, chives, and turmeric. Very filling! And it was guilt-free for me. I also had a delicious chai tea. The coffee shop is located on 5th and Broad Street (next to Boise Brewing & directly across the street from Concordia School of Law). Lots of seating options (including a balcony level).
