#MajorMonday, we are highlighting SDSU's School of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences (SLHS). The SLHS program is designed to prepare students to serve the communication needs of children and adults from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds, while meeting state credential and licensure requirements in each of the areas of specialization.
Positions in SLHS are available in many public and private settings working with persons with speech, language, hearing, and deaf-blind disorders. Graduates with certification or licensure work in rehabilitation centers, schools, hospitals, research, and university teaching and research centers.
Hear from first-year students Zoe Idea and Simone Caruthers about their experiences!
