lucas (@lucascote) // dallas, tx I met Lucas a couple of months back while shooting some promos of his band @hollowealth - my first set of band promo images in probably 4 or 5 years after taking some time away from focusing on music photography to attempt pursuing wedding photography (and finish my school work…). I had known most of the Hollowealth guys for years before the shoot, but I hadn't met Lucas or Dakota up until the first shoot. You could instantly tell the band meshed well and their music is so freaking good. Cloudkicker+vocals/moving mountains type vibe, heavy, technical, but super melodic. Anyhow, a month or so ago, I get a message from the band that they're playing their first headlining show across the street from my loft and I decided to roll over there early and see if anyone wanted to go shoot some quick portraits on my new Pentax 67. Lucas was down so we wandered a bit and actually wound up in a parking lot at my loft and I took this frame and I think it might be on...
