With the great coverage of the presidential elections, it can be difficult to pay close attention to the results of the congressional elections also going on. These elected positions are just as important; they impact many aspects of the country’s future such as federal legislations and the confirmation of Supreme Court justices. Ritchie Torres and Mondaire Jones made history this week when voted to represent New York’s 15th and 17th Congressional District, respectively.
