Today marks the 25th anniversary of the death of Selena Quintanilla Pérez. The queen of Tejano music. My older sister lovejerez used to blast her music non stop which of course being the younger sibling, I also became a huge fan. Selena was one of the first to cross over from Latin inspired music to an American main stream music world. Today we celebrate her and all of her accomplishments and how many people she’s inspired.
