|| The Seattle Sounders beat Liga MX side Tigres UANL 3-0 in their Leagues Cup quarterfinal match on Tuesday night at Lumen Field, with goals from starters Raul Ruidiaz and Fredy Montero, as well as one from a super-sub called Nico Lodeiro.
In the early going, the match was pretty equal, with Seattle gaining a bit more of the ball and driving forward regularly, but it changed decisively in the Sounders' favor shortly after the 20-minute mark. Cristian Roldan broke into the area, and Tigres defender Erick Avalos, rather than allowing Roldan to advance to goal, committed the blatant foul.
