Happy Halloween amigos!! I escaped the cold weather in Colorado and jumped ship to the western Caribbean. Are you celebrating Halloween tonight or this weekend? If you you need a poisonous dessert try these Sweet and Salty Tequila Pumpkin Spice Cider Caramel Apples 🍏🍎🍏🍎 1/2 cup honey 2 cups sugar ½ brown sugar 1 cup heavy cream ½ cup apple cider vinegar ½ cup water 4 tablespoon salted butter 1 tablespoon vanilla extract ¾ teaspoon pumpkin spice 1/4 teaspoon Himalayan pink sea salt 2 tablespoon tequila 6 wooden sticks or twigs Grated Mexican chocolate (optional) Wash and remove any waxy product from apples, dry and insert twigs. Line baking sheet with parchment paper in a large saucepan, combine first 6 ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally for 12-14 minutes or on candy thermometer reaches 240 degrees.
