I plan to get the most out of grilling weather and Hispanic Heritage Month is the perfect time to take pride in my culture with an Argentinian Chimichurri Sauce + Mexican Carne Asada! As a Latina mother I am proud to be able to teach my culture and traditions to my children. The food I make is deeply rooted in who I am: A Mexican-American who loves everything with a flavorful Latin twist. This herby, garlicky, tangy, spicy, and green condiment is great on all kinds of grilled meats. With the end of summer abundance of parsley and cilantro in the garden you can easily make this sauce at home. If you don’t have a garden, head to your local krogerco store for fresh ingredients. Puree all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Transfer sauce to an airtight container and refrigerate at least 2 hours or up to 1 day to allow the flavors to meld.
