When it comes to photographing beautiful subjects, your lighting has to be spot on. This is why I love teaching how to become a master of light. To build this image, I started by setting my subject in a side profile. I then used two lights coming from the sides and one light positioned directly over the camera. This enabled the highlights to accentuate the contour of her face and body. This approach allows me to build depth and contrast, making a much more dramatic final image. For the camera, I used the Canon EOS R5 and the RF24-70mm F2.8 L IS USM set at f/8, 1/200th, and ISO 100."
