Teamwork makes the dream work 🤝⁣ ⁣ In preparation for #Artemis III and IV, Boeing will begin using NASAKennedy and NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in tandem for assembling and manufacturing the core stages of the Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, allowing space and personnel at the assembling facility the ability to work on multiple components at once.⁣ ⁣ After the systems are assembled at Michoud, they will be transferred to a barge before their journey to Kennedy Space Center where they will be further integrated into the SLS rocket.⁣ ⁣ Image description: In this image, teams at MAF move the cylindrical engine section flight hardware to the Pegasus barge.
