#workoutoftheday - leg days turn boys into men. - 🦵🏽Bulgarian Split Squat x 15 each leg 🦵🏽Band assisted squat jumps x 10 —4 sets— —1 min rest— - This circuit will absolutely shred your lower body. First off, I’ve always loved leg days because of the “places” that you have to go mentally to get through them. The lower body muscles are some of the biggest in your body and take up more oxygen than most others. It’s your foundation, and your foundation needs to be built, strengthened, galvanized. - Go lighter than you think you need to on the Bulgarian split squat. Trust me, at rep 15 you’ll thank me. Head up, chest up and squeeze that bar to give you more control. Limit leg/knee movement side to side. - On the squat jumps it may seem counterintuitive to add the band assist but you’ll want and need it. Focus on maximum explosion and hang time in the air and get into a rhythm while also focusing on velocity on each rep. Getting more than normal height with the assist reinforces in your ...
