So much of my life as an athlete has been about adding “external force” to my workouts...adding weight, adding opposition, adding pain and discomfort. - This season of rest is another opportunity to focus on “internal force” - i.e. where can I add mental muscle flexing and spiritual muscle flexing? - Here are a few things I’m trying to be intentional about: •Spending time tightening up my quiet time either first thing in the morning or another time during the day. •Adding and really getting laser focused on my mental highlight reel. •Showing myself grace during this time of rest. •Being present with my wife and son. •Catching up on a few projects I have been putting off. - Use this time to gain ground...not lose it. We are in a season of downtime at our works and organizations but that doesn’t mean we have to have downtime from growing. This is a great time to accept the lack in one area of your life but gain in other areas. - Stay dangerous even in this season. - See you at the top! -...
