"Seven years ago, I dropped out of University because of my addiction to drugs and alcohol and two years ago I decided it was time to finish what I started... Today, I proudly get to come back to where I started my college education with over five years sobriety and say I am a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder!!! It was hard work, especially while working full time but the feeling I have today makes it all worth it. I feel so blessed to be given a second chance and have the incredible support of my family and friends. A very special thank you to my sister Jamie who was such a huge help, my Mom for her help and encouragement, my dad for believing in me and my girlfriend for lifting me up.
