Are these predictions way too early to make? Yes but this was too intriguing of an idea to not even try to guess. As far as 2020s hip hop will go, I think the same names from the lates 2010s (Kendrick, Kanye, Gibbs, Tyler) will continue to dominate until we see the next generation (Saba, Mavi, Carti, Kenny Mason) elevate their games and truly take over. With all the talent out there right now I’m also sure there’s names that aren’t even known yet that will contend for these later spots.
