Josh Jones out of Houston is a tackle that I’m very high on in the 2020 NFL Draft. Josh is a terrific pass blocker who’s pass blocking grade improved in each of his 4 seasons as a starter at Houston, netting an 89.2 PFF Pass blocking grade his senior season. Not to mention the highest overall PFF grade ever recorded from a non power 5 tackle at 93.2. He did all of this with 4 different offensive line coaches as well. Josh was absolutely dominant at the Reese’s senior bowl as well, boasting the highest win rate in 1on1’s of any tackle attending. In my opinion Josh Jones has the most advanced hand usage of any tackle in this draft and really understands how to leverage his length and athleticism to get the job done. His footwork is raw but with some stability at OL coach in the NFL, he should have no problem refining his pass set.
