Hey guys! I don’t think I’ve ever done a formal introduction on my page so Hey! My name is Maylea Salmon, I am a second year junior at the University of Cincinnati majoring in Journalism with a certificate in sports media and promotion! My main focus is sports photography but I love capturing anything and everything. I first picked up a camera after I graduated highschool in 2022 and planned to attend UC for nursing, when I toured and picked UC because of the football field, instead of the sim lab… that should have been my first indicator that nursing wasn’t for me lol. I officially changed my major in the middle of first semester and was on the court with my camera for a basketball game before I was a journalism major and knew what the settings on my camera even controlled.
