PBS KIDS has been working with a small group of Ready To Learn stations to experiment around new models of professional development for Pre-K to 2nd grade teachers. Working with a selected group of consultant educators, we developed a model that first assigns one of the self-paced courses (in the catalog of Self-Paced Learning for Pre-K to 2) for teachers to start, followed by a Zoom virtual check-in and discussion, and wrapped up with an in-person and very hands on workshop!
