Starting off our senior spotlights to celebrate the graduation of our lovely seniors (and 5th years)… is Clare Widzgowski!!! Clare is from Seattle, WA and rowed at Holy Names Academy before coming to USC where she has competed for the program for the last 5 years! “If you are ever in need of some lore, a fire aux for an erg, or a diagnosis, Clare is your girl. Clare always inspires the people around her to give their 110%, even if the people around her are the football team not the rowing team because she has to do asynchronous lifts (#classconflicts #genetics #keck). I am inspired by her mental and her physical strength, and I look up to her as a role model on and off the water. Clare is who I want to be when I grow up—strong, smart, kind, humble, confident, and driven.
