Feed the Groundhog! SAVE this activity created by celenakinsey for Groundhog Day! ✨ Here’s how to put this activity together👇 1. Take a piece of cardboard, cut it to flit over your sensory table and make a little groundhog face with a hole for his mouth (If you don’t have a table you can still do this, you can just tape the flat piece of cardboard to a box or basket). 2. Fill one sensory area with grass: you can use moss or Easter grass both you can find at the dollar tree and fill the other with “snow” I just used cotton balls. 3. Add in the Alphabet Acorns Activity Set to feed the groundhog. Then have your little ones build an acorn matching the lower case letter to the uppercase letter and work on letter sounds by picking out the right object to put in there. Look at the objects together and sound out the right one to place in the acorn. Once the acorn was built it was ready to be fed to the groundhog! . . . #sensorybinideas #learningresources #sensorybin #sensoryfun #activiti...
