Q: How do Team Roping Pairings work? A: A list of all qualified Headers and Heelers from the Pro and Challenger Leaderboards (#1-20) and Pro and Challenger Qualifier Series winners outside of the top 20 will be given a list of the eligible athletes to pair from. (the Pros and Challengers lists are separate) Once we confirm the pairings, if there are any remaining headers/heelers that need a partner we will pair those remaining headers/heelers planning to compete at WRWC based on leaderboard rank and we will drop down and bring in any needed alternates and pair them based on their leaderboard rank. Note: if we drop down and bring in an alternate, they do not pick their partner.
