Later today is the total solar eclipse that you may have heard about. In Calgary it begins just before lunch and lasts for about 2 hours. We will not get "totality" with the solar eclipse (where the moon completely blocks out the sun), but more so around 1/3. The moon will move about across the bottom 20% of the sun, looking like a cookie with a bite taken out of it.
