Today’s #ICANHELP Student Spotlight is Elaine Barraza! Elaine is a member of the Future Teachers of America (FTA), where she and her team work to offer educational opportunities and teaching experiences for students, as well as help link students with resources in their community. FTA also works to connect students to teachers and teachers to students. We love seeing how she has used community service to help people within her school district! One of Elaine’s FTA highlights from this school year was when her organization worked to appreciate the 109 teachers on her campus by making treats and thanking them individually. Under her leadership, she has worked to make this an annual tradition! Congratulations Elaine! We look forward to seeing what you do in the future.
