This week’s #ICANHELP Student Spotlight goes to Hana O’looney! Hana was the Student Member of the Board of Education for Montgomery County Public Schools 🚌📝📕 She pushed for personal finance credits to be implemented at all high schools helping fellow graduating students to be financially literate. Using her #StudentVoice she passed a bill mandating all 24 jurisdictions in Maryland to provide free menstrual products in all schools 🚺 Hana also works with Period Movement, an organization that created a cereal brand which includes menstrual products in every box. This allows women to gain menstrual products under SNAP Benefits. 💪 Thank you, Hana for being a part of the solution!
