To the daughter I was: Happy National Daughters Day. You still are one, even though neither parent is here in form anymore. And
just so you know, you were an amazing daughter. You loved deeply. You were loyal and available. You learned hard. You grew. You cared. You tried. Whatever they couldn’t give you or couldn’t be for you isn’t your fault…Any more than the mistakes you’ve made as a mama are the fault of your own children. So don’t beat yourself up for looking for love in all the wrong places for so long; in the people who hadn’t healed enough, of couldn’t (or wouldn’t) really love…
It’s all good. Cause you came here to remember. We all did. You had no idea where your true magic and support was found. And there was no one there to teach you. So you had to go through the pain and isolation and trauma and loss to break open to (re)discover it. And now you remember who you are. And what you deserve. And where your peace and power and magic really is found. ✨💫🌟
