Funny story, five years ago Larry June came into the Billboard offices and was telling me about his dreams of one day having his own cooking channel. He kept telling me about wanting to have his own orange juice lol. At the time, I was familiar with Larry, but not super in tune. I respected the vision but didn’t quite see it. Last year, I became a real fan when he skated his way through with Spaceships on the Blade. After listening a few times, I tweeted that it was one of my top five projects the year. Oddly enough, yesterday, Larry remembered our first encounter and I was stunned, especially after not seeing each other in the last five years.
