Yesterday, the Italian giants announced they have sacked Massimiliano “Max” Allegri just two days after the Coppa Italia win.
His last moments with the club were getting so angry with the referee during the stoppage time that he ripped off his suit and tie and got sent off, and then lifting the trophy few minutes later.
Allegri was going to miss the last two Serie A games anyway as he received a two-game suspension.
Juve announced in a statement that Allegri’s behavior was not in line with their “values.”
“The firing follows certain behaviors during and after the Italian Cup final that the club deemed incompatible with the values of Juventus, and the behavior that those who represent it should have,” the club said.
Allegri “acted aggressively” and used insulting language and gestures toward the referees, the Serie A judge reported.
