how it’s going after 1 month in Tokyo 🇯🇵 I get the hype and why everyone wants to visit! But - at the same time - it was a pretty big culture shock. Probably one of the biggest ones I’ve experienced? There are a lot of cultural differences and unspoken rules in Japan, and while there is PLENTY (probably too many, mine included) of content out there that give you the “do’s and dont’s” - The only way to learn is by experiencing it all with open arms! Of course do your own research, but when you’re here - Dive into the culture, the food, the history, - talk to locals, and be curious but respectful. We’ve had so many amazing experiences already led by locals who taught us so much. Learning the language has helped a ton too.
