“Ankle mobility plays a huge role in our athletic ability as well as the quality of our daily activity movements. Having better ankle mobility can aid in injury prevention. Poor ankle mobility has been linked to plantar fasciitis, overpronation, shin splints, knee pain, ITB syndrome, hip pain, and low back pain. Stability training lends a huge hand in fighting off injuries. One of my pilers of training is to be able to be active for life! Improvement with overall stability increases mobility, enhances proprioception, balance, control and support of the joints.
