Historic buildings have my heart. So much character, a story to tell. Fun fact: before starting The Bloom Bar I worked with Main Street which promotes historic preservation of spaces. That's actually how I found my little historic space on the square in San Marcos. The layers were stripped away and the historic beauty remained. I went home that night and sketched out the storefront of The Bloom Bar and a year later, the building owner called me and told me it was available. The rest is history. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This pretty corner of oneeleveneast reminds me of all the pretty historic buildings in small town Texas that are just waiting to be lovingly restored and enjoyed for the next generation. Just a little touch of greenery to climb the brick walls and compliment the space is all you need.
