Evenings in the ‘real’ NorCal ✨ ⬇️… • 🙋🏻‍♀️ Hear me out— my husband and I have called California home our entire lives, but I like to tease Evan (who grew up in SoCal) that it wasn’t until we met that he truly experienced California. (Most don’t realize that areas NORTH of San Francisco make up 40% of our State—and I think, are some of the most wild and gorgeous 🤩). • Growing up near the base of this mountain, to me, the ‘real’ Northern California are the wide open spaces that surround Mt. Shasta, Redwoods National & State Parks, Lake Tahoe, Lassen NP (to name just a few). There’s SO much magic in this area and I urge you to see it with your own eyes 👀. • And when we do, let’s explore responsibly! Respecting the locals that call these wonderlands home; carrying out our trash, and leaving the areas even more serene than we found them 🙏. • 📍Castle Crags Wilderness — an area with endless weaving trails!
