When we started this wild climb I was begging for the clouds to part🙏🏼, itching to see the 360 views of Kauai that I’d read about on alltrails 🤩. • But in travel (and after 2020!) we’re still learning not to set expectations or take things for granted. And after my knees stopped shaking and I took a moment to exhale 😱😆, I realized that the beauty of the mist surrounding us was pretty dang special, also!
