Ingredients 🥙:
2-3 large pitas or
#flatbreads
1 block of Daiya's 🔥BRAND-NEW🔥
#plantbased Grilling Cheeze
1 medium tomato, sliced
1/2 medium cucumber, sliced
2-3 thin slices of red onion
3 tsp shawarma seasoning
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1 tbsp chopped parsley
1 tsp oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
1 cup

2 tsp neutral oil for cooking
Step-by-steps ✨:
1. Make the shawarma sauce by mixing together the seasoning, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, vinegar and oil, then set aside.
2. Cut the Grilling Cheeze block in half and then each half into 4 wide slices - you should have 8 slices in total. Heat a non-stick or cast iron pan on medium high heat and brush with oil. Place the slices of Cheeze in one single layer and allow to cook for 3-4 minutes, or until lightly browned. Flip and cook for another 3 minutes, then set aside.
