As a former college athlete, I often reflect back at my time playing baseball and the teammates I've had over the years. The same goes for my colleagues in real estate. Sometimes we're on the same team and sometimes we're not. However, it's gets unique when you're under contract and all parties are trying to accomplish the same goal. Everyone wins when we make it to the closing table.
Selling real estate is a team effort and it's also competitive. Winning a listing or a new buyer keeps my juices flowing just like going up against a rival team.
I've taken the approach that a healthy competitive market has proven to pay off and helping other agents beat the competition has proven to be beneficial for all of us.
