Today, as we mark Juneteenth, we reflect on the end to slavery—and the stain that slavery has left on our nation’s history. As a country, we still have much work to do to combat racism and advance the work of justice. We also have a great deal of work to do to address racism at Loyola. These banners we have installed on the pedestrian bridge on campus are intended as a positive affirmation to our community. We can and must do more to help create real change in the fight for racial equality. Read a message Father Linnane sent to our community today. #linkinprofile
