This is in… *COLORADO* What’s crazy to me is that I have lived in Colorado most of my life (only 2 hours from this spot!) and had no idea this place existed. This is the Colorado National Monument and it is INSANELY beautiful. My husband was away for work a few weeks ago and I was feeling stir crazy at home so I decided to jump in the van for an adventure with the baby. Long drives with the little one can be tough, especially solo, so I decided to explore something closer to home. The whole time I was there I had to keep reminding myself I was still in Colorado because it 100% felt as epic and unique as the Utah national parks. The Colorado National Monument far exceeded my expectations! It is located in the Grand Junction/Fruita area just a short drive off of i70 and there is truly something for everyone.
